Day 43
Week 7, Day 1
After having another read through Eat-Stop-Eat and reading CB’s message on the TT forum I finally got it into my head that the idea is that on non-fasting days, you are not supposed to be dieting. So I had a look at my schedule and figured that probably I can manage 20 hours for the recommended two days a week and eat at maintenance for the other five days - two of which will be slightly under anyway due to starting the fast early in the evening. I’m going to try it this week and if it doesn’t work out then I’ll quit the idea completely. The idea of eating at maintenance for so many days scares me absolutely stupid, which is probably a good sign that I should do this! I’ve also got to expel from my head the idea that a ‘non-dieting’ day must involve cookies. Since I cut back on caffeine I’ve had a bigger than usual problem with eating something sugary in the afternoon. To be truthful, as I’m still getting results, and my daily carbs are usually around 40% daily calories, I’m not sure that it’s a big problem. Maybe I’m deluding myself, time will tell. Or, maybe it’s not even a problem. It’s not leading to binges and I feel and look really healthy right now, so .. I just dunno, probably best to not overthink it.
Training
No TT today, just my regular Monday night 1 hour Salsa class
My next TT session is on Wednesday morning and I’m really not sure which program I will do. I’m reading through them, still not 100% decided. I’m looking for one that has a lot of posterior chain work and that I won’t need to tweak too much with my temporarily gimpy wrist.
20 mins pilates and stretching before bed.
