Day 67
Week 10, Day 4
(Week 5, Day 4 of official TT competition challenge)
This morning I got on the scales and nearly passed out! I’ve gained a kg! Crikey! This was a bit of a wake up call on the sort of blasé attitude I’ve been indulging for the last few weeks. I also realise that last night I had quite a bit of bread at dinner and for some reason that often causes a scary weight spike. Maybe I’m allergic to wheat or something and should just join the gluten-free movement. Anyway, my capricious Tanita scales are announcing the gain as lean mass, so I’m guessing some sort of water fluctuation thing. Maybe even a……buildup of Sodium ions in my ECF. (How about that? I did learn something in all that exam cramming after all).:O)
Mum update: Mum lost 2.7kg in three weeks doing the TT DB and bodyweight circuit program. Go mum! Yesterday I invited her to dinner and she made me add up how many calories I would be feeding her before she deigned to turn up. Next time I’ll be sure to invite her around for 400 calories, rather than grilled fish panini.
