TT challenge – WEEK 7, DAY 5
Training
I did my workout while minding my niece, who is deeply fascinated by the whole process. I think she is sure to become a PT. On the third circuit she saw me finish the deadlifts and said ‘ok, do pull-ups now’. Then I had to hold her up so she could have a go. Then, just as I was feeling like such a good influence, finishing up with stretching, she said ‘do you want a wine or a beer now?’ :-/
Feb 08 circuit Workout B
A) DB Split squat 8 reps w. 7kg DB’s
B) DB Chest press 8 reps with 7kg DB’s (I will go heavier next time)
C) 1-Leg Deadlift 10 reps
D) Pull-ups – 2 (yes, that’s my limit! On the last set I did 12 assisted)
E) Stability ball 1-Leg curl 12 reps
F) Knee-ups – 10
G) Burpees – 5
Three times through. About 30 mins.
Eats.
Today is my higher calorie day. It nearly went very wrong mid-afternoon when I had an attack of the carbs. I had planned a cheat dinner for the evening but scaled back in order to keep my week on track, figuring that I’d cheated enough already! I was feeling work pressure – so much to do and the office assistant just quit with no notice to go travelling. Actually, she went to Aussie for a week and then called to say she would not be back. This is the danger in hiring people with a bit of ‘action’ in them! My brain was having work overload and somehow I thought that lots of sugar would help, but it didn’t. I just felt sleepy all afternoon. It’s just a reminder that I need to manage my life so that I’m not always under such pressure.

WHY do we do that? Oh, I'm feeling stressed. I know.... *lightbulb goes on* ....lots of SUGAR will fix that.
ReplyDeleteSure. And the tooth fairy is real too.
