Foodcam

Next weekend I will endeavour to edit and post some of the 600 odd photos I took while road-tripping it around the Sth Island (Te Wai Pounamu). I had been planning to photograph nearly every meal, but kept forgetting and.. well, once it's eaten, there's no going back.

Here are some random foodie pics:

Road Food. Sometimes you just have to do what you can..

A fabulous organic cafe in Wanaka where I had a Pumpkin Pie and a Dandelion Soy latte. The Pumpkin Pie had by this point fulfilled it's natural purpose of being in my tummy. I am now in love with Dandelion lattes and am currently experimenting with making them using my coffee machine. BTW, the reason my man is always looking pained is because he is usually a) trying to instruct me on camera technique or b) being made to wait for his food while I photograph it.

Bonjour Cafe, Arrowtown. The Chicken dish was humungous and delicious. Perfectly cooked and photo-worthy.

Carrot Cake, Mount Cook (Aoraki). The Carrot Cake sadly, was too yummy and lasted just a few seconds at the hands of starving travellers. However, you are supposed to be looking at the spectacular scenery just out the window.

Breakfast, Tekapo. The Omelette was very milky, fluffy and a little bit blech, but the scenery made up for it.

Finally a FANTASTIC omelette. Tangente cafe, Dunedin. Ooo, yeah.

  3. Of course I meant slightly pained and yet still incredibly manly! I do believe that we both wore the same clothes every day for the whole week. I have photographic evidence. X
