Time for a Quickie

It's *that week* again: you know, the one where all the assignments are due? 

Therefore, don't expect much sense out of me this week, but I'm going to make it up to you on Saturday with a giveaway. :D  Also, if you are awaiting an email reply from me, I intend to catch up on those next weekend, okies?

Firstly, the Biathlon is this sport:

It's a combination of cross-country skiing and shooting. This sport requires serious fitness and guess who has to design a theoretical competition-day nutrition plan and discuss 'in depth' the specific physiological challenges of it?

*waves*

There's a lot more to it than you'd think ;-/

Other happenings of the week:

My cars. You may perceive that the one in front is looking a little 'worn'. When I visited clients, I sometimes parked down the road, just to avoid making a bad first impression.

That phase of my life is over.

The one in back is wearing a weatherproof cover because it is my precious and shall never be exposed to adverse conditions or any on-floor messiness, even in the back seat.

It's a Honda Fit, which seems the perfect car for a health nut.

As for the Civic, I'm going to fix it up and it can go to a worthy home. It has always run like a dream and I feel disloyal and dirty inside for replacing it based purely on looks (and because it has no air con and insists on dropping the hatch on my head when I have two hands full of grocery bags).

Someone reassure me that cars really don't have feelings? I patted it on the nose today just to make us both feel better - then hooned to the supermarket with my new, awesome stereo at high volume :).

Ok, so that was really just a 'happening', but last night I did go to my cousin's engagement party, drank bubbly, pulled a few disco moves and ate macarons *drool*.   Happenings, plural. Then right back to study.
