I'm out of town at the moment, but due to the miracle of pre-organised blog posts, I bring you...
..things that have brought me joy lately. There's a lot to be grateful for, that's for sure.
Birthdays and Aunts that send a different scarf every year (such skillz!)
Nieces that love music and insist on dancing, even from the other side of the world
Friends that bestow home-made beetroot chutney
Kitties that oblige with just the right facial expression
Coconut milk icecream, flowers from my mum and a new coffee machine (woohoo!)
Nature. It's such a gorgeous time of year. Winter, but there are still autumn colours everywhere.
Sauerkraut, winter veges and cooking moroccan lamb for people I love.
Long walks with my new lens
Cats that just want to cuddle.. even if it's only my foot.
What's bringing you joy lately?
Ooh, I could just put a tick next to most of yours...and yes, I am that lazy. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll add riding my bike, creating a new fabulous cake that actually works, cuddles with any one of my four boys and sunshine at this time of year. And the pair of wedgetail eagles that landed in a tree right next to me this morning while I was stopped at a traffic light. :)
Any cake that is worthy to share is RIGHT up there on my joy meter. Your boys are all awesome. If I could have guaranteed my kids would have been as great as yours, I would definitely have had some ;)
Deleteyour posts and blogs bring me joy Sara...Oh and the thought that I'm heading to a European Summer wahoo..... Oh and yes kids laughing, animals being cute and knowing I have % weeks in the European summer .....whoops have I said that.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention, you get to boogie with Miss J in person! PLEASE get Caz to video that on her iPhone for the 'Aunty Sara blog'. Miss J will understand what to do, she's a very clever cookie.
DeleteHow's your cat? He's looking smaller these days. Hope you're enjoying having more time on your hands. Did you catch up with the North and South articles on paleo?
ReplyDeleteYes, I love getting your posts too. Very inspiring.
Thanks Honora, we will catch up very soon, yes? Razzy has lost a massive 350g but now seems to have plateaued, even on diet food, even on 'metabolic syndrome' food. I just think he's big. I don't mind much except when he climbs on to my chest on these cold nights and I wake up thinking I'm having a heart attack and can't breathe...
DeleteBirthdY card looks like you a bit?
ReplyDeletereallllly? Do I have THAT much grey hair? (waaaah)
DeleteWow some awesome photos there Sara!
ReplyDeleteI like your pre-organised blog post, I do the same thing often.
