Just when you thought you'd rather poke yourself in the eye than see another avocado dish, here's one from the archives! An old friend.
Raw Vegan Avocado Sauce

I always bump up the garlic. A lot. But that's because my taste buds loooove garlic. So very much.
The big question really is:.. is it a sauce, is it a dressing, is it a snack? The original purpose was as a pasta sauce, but as I almost never eat pasta, I tend to use it in other worthy missions, many (but not all) of which are non-vegan. Sorry, vegan readers.
For example, to add flavour to a bowl of cauliflower and prawns.
A sprinkling of finely grated parmesan lifted it to a whole new level.
The same sauce added a bit of pizazz to a basic fish, asparagus and mushroom dinner last night. Yes, that is bacon wrapped asparagus (the ones under it are just lightly oiled and salted). I may be shifting the holiday kg's but boring dinners will never work. After my low-cal, no flavour dieting years, I have a visceral reaction to anything without flavour.
Is now the time to mention that I bought a large bag of avocadoes home with me? Are you ok for avocado muffins tomorrow?
