TT W9D3

Day 59
Week 9, Day 3
(Week 4, Day 3 of official challenge)

Today I finally broke the 59kg barrier for the first time. Of course I then ate like a Roman today, but I’m hopeful to get a nice result for the week 10 official weigh in. I know that weight is not the whole story, but the BF% is also dropping nicely (around 25% today) and this all makes me feel like I’m heading for success.

Training

20 mins HIIT cardio
*puff puff*
Truly, this was hard with all those saturated fats in my system from lunch. I could almost feel them creating inertia in my bloodstream (or perhaps I’m just over imaginative).

Eats
*blushes* To be sure, I will not be able to chalk the success of my TT challenge up to perfect nutrition! This week calories have been higher and the average will be closer to 1700 than 1600, but that’s still ok if I’m really kicking my own butt in training. The most important thing for me is that I avoid calorie ‘blow-outs’ – those days when I totally lose my head and eat 5000 calories. Days like that, even occasionally, can have me ‘treading water’ with the fatloss in a most frustrating way.

1. Oatwhites with banana, 6 Omega 3 caps, 1 ‘smart’ cookie
2. Steak and kidney pie, small chocolate ganache
3. Pruffin, 6 Omega 3 caps
4. Moro black chocolate bar
5. Butter chicken with sweet potato and lots of veges, 100ml yogurt

  1. Congrats! You are doing a sterling job. I am mightily impressed with your non-blow-outs. Especially having 2 chocolatey things in a day - without linking them together in an entire chocolate bridge. Man, that's cool.

  2. Yes, chocolate is good for many things, but not building bridges!

I think of my treat foods like hard partying friends that are fun in small doses but destructive if I see them every day.
    :O)
